Los Gatos, Calif.– April 16, 2013 – Jolata, Inc., a stealth-mode start-up building solutions for real time network monitoring, analytics and performance optimization, today announced that Raghu Chakravarthi has joined the executive management team as VP of Engineering. Raghu is a seasoned product development executive with experience in commercial enterprise software at both large and small startup companies. He brings a strong background in big data analytics, business intelligence, cloud services and enterprise software development.
Raghu has more than twenty years of experience in software development and delivery, spanning business intelligence and analytics software and infrastructure to specialized work in cloud, and PaaS for big data services. He has managed both large and small development teams across multiple geographies. He joins Jolata from Oracle, which acquired his previous company Hyperion Solutions, and where he was responsible for product strategy, platform architecture for the Hyperion suite of products. He also had stints at Jamcracker, Sabre (American Airlines’ reservation and ticketing system), and RCM Industries. He holds a BS in Engineering from NITT in India, and an MS in Engineering from Tennessee Tech University.
Raghu joins CEO, John Loiacono (previously EVP/SVP at Sun Microsystems and Adobe Systems), CTO and network and industry guru Charles Barry, PhD (veteran of Juniper Networks and four previous start-ups) and Jian Zhen, VP of Products and veteran of VMware, LogLogic and Exodus to form the executive team at Jolata. Jolata is a venture-backed company and only a few months into operation, but already building out it’s first proof of concept solution for a tier-one mobile carrier.
